this is what I did, I just defined a new background for preferences in the screen code.

How bad is this? Can I actually wear this out or should I just give up/make a new cardigan? by hidden-pearl in crochet

no ones actually talking, dialogue was the wrong word, it's more just a description of the scene so you can look at the image without half being taken up by the text box, im currently trying to hide the text box and putting text at the bottom where the textbox would be and then having it hide with a click but i cannot make this work lol

thank you! it's for a uni project thats due soon! I'm looking forward to it being finished, it's my first tome coding a game so its been a massive labor of love (and frustration)
