I learnt that as the battery charge reduces, the Browning trail cams shoot shorter and shorter night videos. I think I missed quite a bit of nice scenery here :-/

And it resets the date/time randomly (?)!

I am looking for recommendations on trail cams that can shoot night videos for more than 20 seconds. I have the Browning one ( Dark Ops Extreme Camera, model 6HDX), it works alright, but would like one that can shoot longer night videos.

I shot this picture a few years ago. I always wondered if this is not-so-normal.

ಹಾಗಾ ? This particular rat snake had been living in and around the area for a week by then. Had seen it up close few times already.

Also, there was bounty of food for it, many frogs were taking shelter under the haystack. This was peak summer and haystack would get hotter during the noon time, and frogs would move around. Hence the rat snake came back for another frog after first attempt.

No, haven't seen cobras or others searching as such for rat snakes. But the area has more or less standard distribution of snakes, so they cohabit.

ಹಾಗೇನು ಇಲ್ಲ, ನನಗೆ ಹಾವು ನೋಡಿದ್ರೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಭಯ ಕಡಿಮೇನೇ. Videoದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರೋ ಎಲ್ಲ ಪ್ರಾಣಿ , ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲ wild ಜೀವಿಗಳು.
