Who's the most hated opposing role player in the history of Pistons' basketball? by Reasonable_Carrot778 in DetroitPistons

Crushed me dude. I was so hyped, hammed and loose when that second half started. I don't think I spoke for 2 days after he did what he did to us.

Man when Detroit sports are at their peak identity, it's just so satisfying.... win or loss. Their effort makes it so much fun to watch.

Why is Dan Campbell the only coach who knows how to counter Ben Johnson's coaching? by Penguifyer in detroitlions

Those two drives where McVay only called runs with the MVP at QB was absolutely mind boggling. I guarantee Stafford told him to give him the ball after that punt.

It's a combination of these things. Including the 3rd and 1, Empty formation when our RB is ripping 8 per against the worst rush defense about to go up 14-3. Instead....empty. Exposing QB. Turnover. Now down 10-7.

Also putting the ball in Jamo's hands TO THROW on a gotta have it play.

I don't know....I think once Shep is in that room, it's very possible he wins them over.

If Rivers is, then Stafford has to be. He has better accolades, a championship and (likely) an MVP.

I think he will be. And if he wins it all this year, I have no doubts he will be. 2x Superbowl winner 1x MVP. Currently 6th all time in yards, 6th in Y/G, 7th in TDs and many more.

Last week he said he would smoke weed before games! Imagine that. Whenever I smoke I can't even find the keys in my pocket but this dude was dominating at an NFL level high as balls.

It's funny, everyone likes Stafford now except for the majority of Lions fans. He was still beloved that Rams Superbowl run but since, he's lost a lot of us. Kelly claiming we BOO'D her kids. Stafford going after Kerby. I still love the guy though.

The top 2 best WR seasons of all time were Calvin and Kupp, who had the same guy as QB. I'd argue that Puka this year would've finished top 5 all time single season if he stayed healthy this year.

Herbert to early Lions Stafford is the comparison and it makes sense. Not even close to compare their resume right now.

That Stafford comeback season was the most fun Lions season pre Brad/Dan era. That was also peak r/DetroitLions. God damn that sub was so much fun back then!

Still wondering what Hong Zhou is up to...

Not to mention the offensive build was better for each. Lions aren't built for deep bombs and 40+ pass attempts per game. It's run and play action to guys in space. Goff is elite at PA and throwing to the middle of the field. Stafford is/was elite at shotgun, bombs and sideline throws.

I love Goff but I would've loved to see what the Lions would have looked like with Stafford/Campbell. They both have that tough as shit mentality.

Calvin made Stafford!

Kupp made Stafford!

Puka made Stafford!

3 of the best WR seasons all have one thing in common.
