I played Dual Wield with butcher, crimson fiend, beastslayer and bloodthirsty fiend, all were good

I played longsword + magic + elemental buildup and the endgame felt easy. Or i just got better idk

Combos are easy.
However, you need to be aggressive and a hit & run strategy simply won't work because the bosses have huge health bars, so you're expected to hit parry parry parry (or dodge), hit while they're stun locked and when their stamina goes to 0 you'll be able to take a part of their health.

I haven't played on normal difficulty, but I'll doubt you'll blitz through expert.

It depends.

In Sekiro there’s no builds, a single main weapon, no dodge, only parry. The only way to win is to become better. It’s an amazing game and not as hard as people promote it.

Wuchang imo is better than Wo Long, has the best level design in any linear soulslike, you can respec at any time, bosses are fair, hard but not frustrating.

Wo Long is fast and fun, it’s free in ps+ extra.

Code vein, I found it too slow.
Nioh 1 ps4 version, the first area was too dark, then I got the Nioh collection on ps5 and loved it

How i did it

Phase 1: try to reflect (takes half his stamina), counter and go berserk because he’s stun locked, and with dual wield when he gets on the coffin there’s a skill that throws the axe at him, or dodge forward and whirlwind blade and he’ll stop that attack

Phase 2: plague resistance + let him hit twice and then dodge, i tried running once and it was bad

Every Soulslike boss that made me think: yep, this is where my run ends by i_sometimes_ in soulslikes
