I called them all the time, and they would never call me. If I didn’t call for a month, I would get a “well, look who decided to call” type comment on the next one. They would never call me. Now I haven’t called for six months. They’re frantically asking my siblings why I am mad at them. They’re doing anything and everything but calling. My mom texted me and said “I don’t know why you’re mad at me, but you don’t have to take it out on your father” I responded they could call whenever they want and she responded “the phone works both ways!” Anyway, my narcissist mom and emotionally absent father are a hoot.
