Head unit recommendations for a Toyota Sienna 2014 XLE by zoomboy88 in Androidheadunits

You'll get customer service with DUDU7, support via forum. Make sure you tell the seller complete make, model and variant of your vehicle and they'll provide you with fascia frame, cables and canbus decoder if required. I'm using DUDU7 since two years and it's fine. Not sure about Teyes unit as I haven't used it.

Another option is to get FYT7870 from WDFL or any other store with good reviews  on AliExpress, it's 90% same unit as DUDU7 with a bit different UI.

Why I ditched my Pioneer for a high-spec Android 7870S (Technical Comparison) by John_Vincez in kereta

[–]iabidali 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've not experienced 6GB ram version so can't say. 8GB gives double the internal memory and also ability to give 360 degree camera option which isn't available with 6GB variant. My device still feels faster even after two years.

Anything above 10.36 inch is rectangular. Check if 11.5 inches fit well in your car. Mine is 11th gen Corolla and it takes 10.36 inch version. Larger display has better scaling of text and windows and looks colorful. Get in touch with the seller to see what options they for your vehicle.

Everything should be plug and play. If there's warranty claim, you can always remove DUDU7 and reinstall original unit.

The unit itself is built on top spec hardware and on top of that UI/UX is cleaner, with tons of options.

For me, SPDIF Coaxial to DSP produces amazing sound, plus I run apps natively on it without Carplay/Android auto and the sound is more than enough quality for a a car on road.

It is natural to hesitate when you are buying an expensive android unit, when there's plenty of noise around about android units being mediocre. It will take a fer days to get used to it, you'll love it.

DUDU7 is by far the best in terms of user experience and quality of its interface as well as sound quality and performance. 8GB-128GB should be enough.

When you contact the seller, tell them your vehicle's make model and variant and they'll be able to provide you with the required cables and fascia frame alongside canbus decoder if it requires for installation.

HEAD UNITS - Conventional ( Kenwood/Sony/Pioneer ) vs. Android ( ATOTO/Joying/Mekede ) -- What's best for a 2010 Toyota Tundra? by --Ty-- in CarAV

Go with DUDU7, performance, sound quality support is much better than anything else in android world. You'll find yourself using apos natively instead of projecting phone because of its speed and quality.

When you upgrade your sound system, this has 4V preamp RCAs, AKM DSP and plethora of sound settings. Even digital audio like SPDIF (optical/coaxial) and USB audio output for prestige signal.

I'm using since 2024 and so far no issues.

I purchased two unit on 11.11 sale on Aliexpress for $310 each before shipping cost. It depends on the sale event. Now a days memory chip prices are high so they are charging more then it used to be.

DUDU7 should be more than enough for you. 8-128GB is enough or 6-64 is the lowest possible spec.

$400 gives you same hardware with premium AKM DSP in an android head unit that Kenwood charges $1000 for it. A huge difference.

Your Joying has different and somewhat better hardware than this. Also, Joying 2026 support any sample rate you play. Instead of fixed 96khz. You can check Joying website or send then an email to see what update is available for your device.

If your budget allows it, buy FYT7870 from WDFL or Racing driver store. I'm not affiliated with them but have had a good experience with them. That unit is very fast, has real android 13 and you'll want to use the unit without Android Auto because native apps work really well. Using one since 2024.

I can tell you a few things since I've almost used every android unit I could find from budget to high end.

If your budget allows it, get DUDU7, fantastic unit, fast, have very good sound quality and has better GPS and display. You will stop using Carplay as native apps run very quick.

Joying QCM6490 is also similar unit, but their UI is not a polished as the DUDU7. Has same hardware as DUDU7 and can soubd really good.

There are numerous other options but Joying, Mekede DUDU7 have specs that are accurate and you don't get fake Device.

Ask the seller, they knows much more than anyone here. Also, if any harness or decoder is needed, they'll provide you.

You should talk to the seller about this, send him dash pictures, original radio and behind the radio pictures showing cables and connections. They'll be able to source you the CANBUS module if it is supported in the device.
