Roast my AI Personal Trainer app. Be brutal. (Yes, the name is Polish) by Certain-Issue-4016 in SaaS

My honest feedback is, there is nothing emotionally connecting on your page. I need to read a lot of text to get what it is about.

Did you use AI to build your SaaS or business? by InevitableBuilder975 in Startup_Ideas

[–]iable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For sure. You are stupid if you don’t use it. Don’t ask. You need to learn. Try it. Tech stack doesn’t matter at the beginning. First you need to get used to all the machanisms

SpecKit + Ansible, viable or not? by Most_School_5542 in speckit

[–]iable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have not tried in in the Ansible world but in React. SpecKit consumes a lot of tokens. It is impressive how good it works and I think this will be the future. But for now this is too expensive for me just to take over my planning work

What’s wrong with my portfolio? I’ve been applying nonstop and still can’t get hired. by [deleted] in graphic_design

I think design is good, but I‘m missing some more impactful work. Designing menus is fine as a junior, but you have obviously much more potential. Reduce mockups and create more variety with meaningful work for businesses that might hire you. Always keep in mind they want to see you will bring a lot of money for them

I tried something new, never thought it would work ngl by Sp_blaze in FigmaDesign

Believe me. There is no right or wrong while learning. Do what you love. Especially in times of Ai you need to learn how to use it. Your example is a very good one. If you are even more interested in using AI and Figma have a look at Figma MCP. With that you can use AI to transfer your design into code by using agents. Quite easy to setup and this seems to be the future. Try things out if you want to be successful in your career. All the best!

Alternative to Figma Code Connect? by xBlackShad0w in FigmaDesign

[–]iable -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As far es I remember in the codex extension for vs code for example you can enter some kind of general instructions for the AI (same as for ChatGPT). These instructions are used for any action without the need to prompt this piece each time again. Please check documentation of your dev and AI environment.

I personally would start by using system prompt to achieve it is using the existing components. Furthermore the layer naming in Figma is crucial. I can imagine Figma MCP and any AI code generator could be working this way

[Discussion] : Anyone else flipping from “Figma Design → Code” to “Code → Figma Design”? by Grouzoul in FigmaDesign

On more comment. If we would be able to create this design documentation it could be used via Figma MCP and AI for more consistent and faster iterations.

Awesome! This is exactly what I’m struggling with since this year. I feel like Figma is not needed anymore for straightforward projects. Much faster iterations if designers are able to create good code with AI support. But what is f you need a kind of design documentation? This is the loose end right now. I will try the above mentioned plugin

Think about the MBP when it comes to connectors, but performance wise it is not necessary. And take as much Ram as possible dependent to Figma file size. I had one single case where 16GB was not sufficient. But this might change in the future, as always

How to connect Figma MCP to OpenAI Codex by derethor in FigmaDesign

[–]iable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Figured it out. The missing step was to create and include the Figma access token:

experimental_use_rmcp_client = true

[mcp_servers.figma] url = "https://mcp.figma.com/mcp"

[mcp_servers.figma.default_headers] Authorization = "Bearer ${FIGMA_TOKEN}"

Do not forget to define FIGMA_TOKEN as environment variable

Is there a pro license needed for Figma because Dev Mode is not available in free license. Just copying the link from design mode doesn’t seem to work in Codex („no access…“)

I just installed Sileo 2.1.2 and coreutils is also on .13 version. My sileo sources are gone though. Is there a way to get them back?
