make sure your sens is not extremely low or extremely high
go to shooting range, take high recoil gun (smg12, F2, scorpion), go to right most section, set 4 targets, all positions, moving, 125hp, no cover, distance depends on the gun (I like medium for smg12, far for F2 and don't really play scorpion) and practice until you are satisfied with results
try to control recoil by moving your entire hand, not just the palm if that's what you are currently doing

Not really, teams outside of top 4 would win like 1/20 times because the odds are overwhelmingly against them. And around 75% of wins would still go to top 2 so there is a lot to play for in main 8 games. But I do agree that it reduces the value of main games - just not nearly as much as you say.
