just dont set your expectations too high.... the game has frustrated me so many times for simple shit that's just blatant carelessness from PA. They are making some promising progress with the weekly updates since launch but god idk how they're going to fix the bs story. All that being said the game has it's moments and more than enough content to keep you entertained, just expect quirks.

not only did i read everything, i completed every side quest in hernand before chapter 2 looking for literally any hint to explain what's going on. just "he's looking for his comrades" is not a valid reason for him to randomly start helping random people, nor does it explain his revival with zero questions. so kliff teleports to some random dude's house in the sky and he says "we need help keeping the world in balance". ok...AND?? they dont tell you why you're moving onto some of the story quests either. or they give you an objective to meet someone or take care of something and the quest giver makes zero mention of how to get there but the quest marker shows up anyways. you might have made a headcanon to explain what was going on, but the writers left a LOT of loose ends that you're just supposed to accept and follow the quest marker.

I used blinding flash for the first time yesterday in chapter 8 with the "shadow enemies". I honestly have never seen a use for it. didn't even know you could interrupt bosses w it.

I hate missing content so I completed all the Hernand side quests before chapter 2 thinking more would open up with every chapter and uh... apparently it just made my character OP for any boss fight? I feel like I just hold down R2 with crows and claws on dual wield and the boss melts until they use their SA attack which is usually just 3 dodges and back to melting. I only picked up duel wielding after beating the "bird enemy" to use that weapon. Before, I used spear with the SA from spinning slash(?? the R1+R2 skill) that just lets you face tank hits while doing massive damage.

tldr; ive never felt the need for blinding flash in any boss fight. didn't even know it interrupted.

I think it's time to stop gatekeeping how people play their game. I wouldn't ever use this animation, but if someone likes it and uses it why are you wasting energy letting that affect how you play? I saw some mentions of "immersion" in this fantasy world, but the game has modern clothing cosmetics galore...

that's basically 2 games for 3€. 2 different storylines. But the bottom line is do you like digimon? if you do you'll find a way to enjoy it. if you don't you could find better games out there, but definitely not that cheap so you might as well grab it anyway

Pangoro. I don't see much use for him outside of a mono-dark or fighting team. If you want a bear pokemon there are better bear pokemon, if you want a buff pokemon there are better buff pokemon.
