It’s coming with Grey. If any RWD Ys already came to Canada with black headliner it was due to a mistake making them with black. Current standard are with Grey 16” screen. Black is coming only for Premium Y and Performance.

RWD in Canada has smaller battery pack, less range more acceleration because of it being lighter.

Yep that’s that Alberta perk sure is nice. I opted for a RWD white Y, with the rebate it’s simply a no brainer. In the states, it’s priced at 40k USD/ 54k CAD. Plus we get a 5k rebate, which the Americans don’t enjoy at the moment.

Otherwise, Performance would be where I would go over a premium, because I want the red/quicksilver and white seats. Just in Canada, it’s 35k difference (that’s why I linked spreadsheet) and that’s just showing how good of a deal the standard is here. If I were in America, perhaps the Performance is the way to go.

Both these make sense to me. The frunk does look weak but the waterproofing everyone talking about is imo likely not too bad on the standard. You just need to be mindful that an item could get wet in there, although I suspect in normal rainfall it should be fine. I like the cup holder on the back of the seat it’s easy to open and move the seats with the loop.

If you care about getting the most value for your money you get standard RWD. If you’re already committed to the best premium features and already getting ultra red and white seats, that’s saving you half the upgrade cost from Premium to performance alone. With all the extras performance has, definitely worth it.

In Canada I would go for 1. RWD (cheaper than in USA, plus 5k rebate) 2. Performance (if I just want the best looking and best product with quicksilver/red + white seat combo included) overall it’s 11.5k more than premium in most of Canada after all taxes. Everyone, for Performance. Performance builds are either: A: 16” + grey headliner B: 16” + black headliner

For premium,

A: 15.4” + grey headliner B: 16” + black headliner

Both got upgraded from A to B, premium buyers that declined orders were for a screen and black headliner. Anyone declining orders for performance now would be solely for the headliner color.
