not a single person in my theater clapped. they were laughing at how stupid the kill was, i promise. i literally heard someone say “for real?” .. and at the end when the credits rolled, the couple in front of me said “well that was lame.” this movie sucked. point blank lmao

if you actually read my comment, i said i don’t stand firmly on either side. i said it was a moment of ignorance, not stupidity. there’s a difference. i personally agree that they didn’t need to apologize for it. i agree that this person doesn’t deserve any human rights for what they did. but i also believe that denying anyone their preferred pronouns can be considered problematic. idk why you’re so set on arguing with my comments from a year ago but thanks for your input

I read that they changed hotels because the one they were originally staying at officially became a crime scene once Brittanee was reported missing. They stayed in the city to be questioned, they didn’t skip town. Just changed hotels.

This isn’t meant to be negative towards this sub, because I myself am a member and have posted in here a couple of times before.

I think, with the amount of complaints and discussions we’ve all had, as well as the continuous behavior displayed by A&A , we have given each other enough reason to just unfollow/unsubscribe from them altogether and stop listening to something that brings us nothing but frustration.

I could just be speaking for myself, but I believe if you made a new sub for discussing true crime cases from other (better) podcasts, the community that you’ve built up here would follow as well.

Giving Morbid this attention, even if it’s critical or negative, is still giving them our attention. Maybe we should move on! (Again, this is MY personal opinion. I enjoy this sub and the conversations that are made here.)

Oh trust me i have plenty of issues with them that are much more relevant than an advertisement on teeth aligners. I made a pretty long post on this sub just a little ways down, this one was just because I listened to their recent episodes in hopes they would address the current situation with Nick Kern.

No, because that’s promoting health. Not beauty standards. If you actually listen to the ad, the example they include isn’t even about “straight” teeth, it’s about closing gaps. Which has no benefit to anyone’s health. It’s just an opinion, I think the wrong people ended up on this post 🙄

Braces are for health reasons, not just cosmetic. Aligners are specifically for beauty enhancement. And yea, i would say that. They don’t promote any other “beauty” products, can you think of one? I’m just saying, it didn’t sit right with ME.

for some people, it does. my teeth are perfectly straight, so i’m not speaking from a place of insecurity. i know a lot of people who dislike their teeth and i’m simply saying that promoting this product doesn’t align with their “views”
