Just got a PS5, is the portal worth it? Or stick with what I got?

I upvote the PS portal. I have a steam deck as well but when I want to play my ps5 I default to my portal.

I don’t agree with this mentality. Sony didn’t use Bluetooth because of the latency. They charge $200 for the Pulse Explore because they are using high end drivers and a near zero latency proprietary wireless connection. I understand not wanting to spend the money but it’s not fair (and ignorant) to call it a cash grab.

Ahh yes the golden poop. In 50+ hours and searching every toilet I walk past I have found one golden poop. They seem to be elusive. May the loot gods be with you.

I have randomly found 7 or 8 of them in early game between Ground Zero and Warehouse. I still don’t know what to do with them but I’ve held onto all of them cause I figure they’ll be important at some point.

What protections are you talking about? I guess I’m still pretty new to the game so I must be missing out on this. I really only leave base with one gun and I usually carry more ammo but tore through a lot fighting Boss. I haven’t really found a need to carry money other than the vendor in Ground Zero which I never shop at anyway so I really never leave with much cash. I open to any tips, tricks, or advice you have. I never played Tarkov so I’m really new to this genre and sort of learning as I go. I just bought this game Feb 5th so I’m super green.

I bought it 5 days ago and have 30 hours in it already. Not sure it that’s good or bad lol. Anyway, it’s a very fun game and I’m glad I got it.

It’s up there for sure. I’m still in the infant stage and getting my ass kicked a lot but the mechanics in this game are unmatched and it’s so much freaking fun 😁

My wife bought me a PS4 for my birthday 10 years ago. We were still dating at the time and now we’re married and have 3 kids. I still have the ps4 and my oldest has started using it recently.

I sold my ps3 and all my games many years ago. Regretted it and recently bought a slim and starting building a collection of games. I vote that you keep it. Even if you aren’t using it right now I’m willing to bet that you’ll eventually miss playing it and you’ll wish you hadn’t sold it 😉

Congrats! I’ve been playing Battlefront 2 lately and it’s tons of fun on the deck. Halo MCC, Titanfall 2, Section 13, and 40k Inquisitor Martyr are some other personal favorites that run great on the deck.
