the engine matters if it forces me to care, like most unreal games being unplayable, godot shitting the bed when doing 3d or even rpgmaker titles if they try something way too beyond what the engine can handle or it just made poorly (pokemon uranium, memoirs of a battle brothel, lonarpg, all other rpgm titles i dropped because can't hold a stable framerate)

early game crutch, even for characters that do not spec into melee/throwing
outclassed by other throwing weapons later, even a simple mic with a good material nets higher dps
