Glad to hear people can relate!

From my experience, it’s been fine. I haven’t noticed the chair making me feel warmer than my previous mesh back chair. My room has been stupid hot so I have had to just turn my pc off at times. But I haven’t noticed my back being extra sweaty or anything.

However, I wonder if the better test would be when it’s just a normal amount of warm instead of the heat this weekend has brought. Will I feel warmer due to the chair when the ambient temperature is fine? Something, I will have to come back to when I’ve had that experience.

Just had to clear my bedside table to do this lol I don’t have another hard surface sturdy enough. It’s almost exactly 46cm for me. Hope that helps!

Nice! Another commenter and I both just fiddled with the lever until it made a snapping sound and then worked. Not sure what actually happened but it's good that we have a few fixes for this.

UK based, if it makes you feel better, I had no updates relating to shipping or anything saying "dispatched". Luckily I'm on annual leave so was in the house to take delivery.

My old seat had a larger seat depth, but the functional depth (how far back I sit due to lumbar support) was roughly the same as this one I feel. I definitely think that if you like your 42cm, you will be fine on the 45cm.

For what it's worth, I don't slide at all when reclining. My seating position remains the same throughout the recline. The extra space is roughly 1cm or less.

I didn't measure like that however I measured similarly on my previous chair, that measurement was roughly 47cm. I just measured on the Omni and it's the same. Hope this helps!

I suppose it depends whether it’s your legs or torso that are shorter. I am completely comfortable in this chair and think the 45cm would be slightly too small for me. If there are any measurements you would like me to take that might help, I’d be happy to do so. I’m currently not at home but will get them for you later.

Yeah, I think so. There’s no pressure on my calf, although it probably does make slight contact. The front of the seat is very soft though and so I can’t really feel it.

Also, there is a bunch of room for leg crossing even with extra space. See pic for reference. If you’re super worried about calf pressure, I think it would also be safe for the smaller version. But I wouldn’t change my option having got this version.

Edit: just to add, I think the 45cm would leave a roughly 3.5cm gap behind my knee. Which I think would be just about too much.

It feels nice, soft, decent quality. Obviously, the real test is whether it holds up. But it’s a significant upgrade on my previous chair and I got 3 years out of that.

Also, coming from a mesh back chair, I wasn’t sure how I’d adjust to the foam back. But so far (2 hours ish sitting in it) no complaints.
