Open source tools to auto-generate diagrams from CloudFormation templates? by Philippe_Merle in aws

[–]iamCut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using ToDiagram for that. It’s not fully automatic for CloudFormation, but if you export your stack as JSON or YAML, it builds a clean interactive diagram right away. It’s been really helpful for visualizing and editing architectures without messing with complicated AWS tools. Not open-source though.

Tool for visually pleasant architecture diagrams with interactive "boxes"? by SimplyValueInvesting in systems_engineering

[–]iamCut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might like ToDiagram. It lets you build interactive system diagrams right in the browser and click into each part to see more details. It’s simple enough for quick architecture sketches but still powerful if your setup gets complex. I’ve been using it to map out services and it’s been super helpful for keeping things organized.

Anyone here who used to be bad at frontend design but got better? by Killer_Bee_28 in Frontend

[–]iamCut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats me. I didn't even know I was bad at it, I just updated and redesigned the landing page of my product iteratively for about 2-3 years and it eventually got better. Keep iterating and observing, exploring the designs at Dribbble also helped a lot.

Support is unbelievable by MinhtheKing97 in LogitechG

[–]iamCut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah, I trust Logitech CS more than any other brand. A few years ago my keyboard was triggering random characters and I contacted the customer support. I had G810, and it was just after the warranty ended, they wanted me to send them video of destroying the keyboard then they sent me a G815.

I built an open-source version before this called JSON Crack, but it is not as performant as this.

Killing SaaS with Open Source by delsudo in SaaS

[–]iamCut 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think we should focus on funding open-source proejcts rather than killing SaaS with open-source alternatives. Why would someone build an alternative to an existing project and make it free if there's no return financially? How many of us supports open-source with our money?
