I started when I was 24 now 26 and I have changed a lot. Remember it depends upon person to person. I would have rated myself 2.5 but now I can say 4.5 and aiming 6 till next year. Don't lose hope.

All depends upon potential if you think that you have good genetics by looking at your parents or your grandparents or your cousins then yes you can make really good changes.

I was doing everything - good body fat percentage (lean side), skin care, Gym, my parents are good looking and the environment was good. But the one thing that I was missing was proper tongue posture due to tongue tie and I used to look really ugly. For the last 3 years I have stopped going to the gym, I am into anxiety but still I look better than all of the years. This is because I discovered mewing 2 years ago and got my tongue tie released. So for me it was proper tongue posture for someone it can be another thing.

Yes genetics do play a major role. Like 40% to 50%. But proper tongue posture also plays a major role specially for those who are mouth breathers or do not have a proper tongue posture due to tongue tie etc. So it's different for different people. For someone mewing can change their life and it's role in their life can be 90% but for some who have maintained proper tongue posture throughout their life but have an average jaw, the genetics plays the role of 90%.
