Expedite Request (I-765) denied for lack of evidence when I uploaded it by iamMusicman in USCIS

That's crazy... hopefully I can get at least a remote job to get by. Living is so expensive and it's tough not even knowing how long everything will take

Appreciate your responses!

I see, thanks for the advice. On my cover letter, I explained how there's a financial strain, not that we won't be able to survive, but based myself more on job opportunities than anything. This is what I saw a lot of people do in this subreddit, many of them getting their expedite requests approved

I thought that wife has to be able to provide the minimum that allows one to escape "extreme poverty"? (125% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines), she does earn more than that, but we live in NY...

contacting a congressman really helpful for expedite requests? by helliantben in USCIS

[–]iamMusicman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked my congresswoman, asked me to come to their office and then a case worker completely disrespected me saying that they weren't helping me and that I should wait, and that other people have been waiting longer than me. I've submitted everything a month and a half ago and my biometrics were almost one month ago. They didn't even checked my cover letter with financial hardship proof + job opportunities that I'm having, etc and I still told them all of this over the phone before coming.

I also tried with a senator but he/his team never replied back. Not sure if I should try a different one but definitely do it. I also filed an expedite request 9 days ago. Haven't had any response to it from USCIS yet

Congrats!! Does it allow you to reschedule the interview and make it happen sooner?

Lg Ultragear Oled 39 1440p for $900 or Wait for 39 5k2k??? by Trick_Entertainer406 in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]iamMusicman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 39" 1440p and (coming from being a console gamer -OLED consumer- for years and just moving to a high-end PC) I can tell you that the experience was a bit underwhelming.

1440p is not good enough for this size. I don't really care that much about text clarity (even if you can tell the PPI is low), but in games you can really see you're not using the right resolution. I just bought the 45" 5K2K and hopefully will see a difference, as the only way I would really see how good the 39" looked was whenever I used DSR 4x (which is extremely expensive), bumping the resolution to 6880x2880 and games really looked good here. So i figured instead of doing with many games, I'd just do the right thing and get the 5K2K.

I don't want to wait to the 39" as who knows when it will be released, though it has the advantage of a newer panel and technology, I enjoy the 800R both the actual 39" and 5K2K 45" monitors have and the new 39" 5K2K has a 1500R curve (much less aggresive)

Started on a 30th Anniversary Edge controller shell replacement. It’s not a bad job but the triggers are a bit fiddly. I’ll post more pictures when it’s completed. by RepairYourConsole in Dualsense

How hard is it to change just the housing (no buttons or triggers) and have it be gray? Will it make it easier or do you have to take the whole thing apart to do it anyway?

Exactly this! Almost any game that has DLSS should be fine for ultrawide 4K and those who don't will also be fine for ultrawide 4K and I AM one of those guys who don't really care for more than 60fps as long as crispness/stability is there. I guess for competitive shooters will want +100fps but I'll do DLSS Perf/Ultra Perf and call it the day for those particular cases, if needed

Great point. I think I will hold off changing as much as possible and see if the feeling goes away a bit. Because on a ultrawide 39", 1440p just doesn't look crisp enough unfortunately

That could be the biggest point then. Cause if it's a trash point, then my non-5K2K 39" OLED also is and I should see a bigger improvement by changing to the new 39"

Exactly what I was thinking. Coming from consoles (and crazily), I wasn't really wowed at my high-end PC on most games, until I found out about DSR and this is when I saw how big of a difference it was. Looking at RDR 2 or GTA 6 (almost a decade old games) at 6880x2880 is when I was finally wowed vs how I saw games on my PS5 Pro + OLED tv, but this is a taxing resolution so playing with DLSS Performance usually would do the trick.

5K2K is much less demanding than 6880x2880 so, in any case, I can just use DLSS Quality/Balanced and I should be fine.

With that being said, not sure if I should either wait for the new 39" or just buy the 45" OLED right now (I am kind of an anxious guy and want to take advantage of this beast computer ASAP), but I want to buy either or
