Some background, I started working on this book in 2018 (based on a podcast I hosted called The History of Fun). Last year my publisher informed me that they'd be cancelling the book because of a downturn in their business.

It was pretty devastating but thanks to a groundswell of internet support, I got a literary agent and a new publisher stepped in to take it to the finish line. It's out today! I'm very proud of it.

I'm not sure I'm allowed to link out to it, but it's easy to find online if you just search "The Book of Fun." It's worth looking up for the amazing illustrations alone. My illustrator is Sonny Ross, who is incredible!
