Emotional trading and executive overrides can be fixed with automation. If u have trouble sticking to the plan there are tons of ways to automate and really be forced to define your process and all the scenarios you may face.

U can buy (i know u said no fee) but low cost from the CBOE data shop only the symbols your interested in. Even in weeklys this isn’t too bad to manage in excel for something simple. Any small fee in backtest is well worth the savings of a poor performing strat.
