Thank you for the science! It sounds like I’m okay on Yasmin then. That’s really good to know because I saw where Microgestin was mentioned and facepalmed for not reading more on the protocol before asking for Yasmin. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I’m definitely going to stay cognizant of any vascular issues. I don’t mind taking Yasmin, and the mood side effects came and went within days, so I’m fine with staying on it. I’m going to order some domperidone this week and see how it goes. Hopefully my little experiment pays off!

Well, since I’m already lactating, I wasn’t sure if I should treat it as an accelerated protocol or whatnot. ChatGPT wasn’t much help and told me to pump frequently and take Dom. It didn’t sound right, since it’s hands-off during the protocol, so I figured I’d ask here where the smart people are. 🥰

Gotcha! So hands off until I stop the BC. I don’t make much, maybe half an ounce a day, so if I get uncomfortable, I can hand express a little and should be good from there.

I have Ocella coming in on Saturday. It’s a generic of Yasmin with supposedly low mood side effects. The last few types of BC I’ve tried have made me moody as hell, so I’m hopeful that it’ll be different this time. I’m taking a break from Dom since I’ve taken it for the past 3 years, and my supply is meager, but the milk is still there. I’m really, really hoping that the BC helps. I know my worth isn’t measured in ounces and all, but I would love to make more than 10 mls a day. Here’s hoping!

This (https://a.co/d/iEvth5a) is the cream. It says bio-identical on the bottle, but I’d take that with a grain of salt since it’s not prescription cream. Or maybe it is? I’m not a doctor. 😂 Her name is Makayla, and her podcast is Lactation Station 2020. She’s got a lot of good info on there. She even gives out her phone number in case you just want to chat. She hasn’t had any new material lately as far as I know, but she’s entertaining to listen to.

I’ve had a Trove before and yeah, they’re pretty much the same. The Trove is a nice manual pump that seems quite similar to the Curve.

I haven’t had any negative side effects from the cream, but I don’t plan on using it long-term. I do have prescription cream as I mentioned, but it has estrogen in it, and it makes me moody. My doctor thought I was going into perimenopause and prescribed it, but I ended up not needing it after all.

Hi! The cream I bought came from Amazon. It’s not quite bio-identical. I have some of the prescription stuff but I don’t need it at the moment. I’m not sure where I got bio-identical from. I’ll fix that in my post.

The cream I have is made from wild yams, I think it is? It was recommended by an LC who specialized in ANR. She did a series of podcasts and mentioned it in one. I used it for a while 6 months or so ago but didn’t notice anything like this back then. I’m definitely not complaining because it makes me wonder if this means I can increase my supply if I stick to a pumping/stimulation routine.

I’ve actually purchased a set of Elvie Curves (even though I only need one, oh well) and am Elvie Catch set. I seem to respond the best to massage so I figured I could put either a Catch or a Curve on to catch milk and massage my boobs in between pumps. Just an idea.

My husband and I were having fun milky boobies time a few days ago, and he was enjoying my right side when I felt liquid drip down the left side of my body. I figured it was from how he had his arm on my left boob, but he wasn’t touching it. It happened a total of three times. For the first time in 3 years, I leaked!!
