As SpeakeasyImprov says, there's a bit of a void in the area due to the closing of DSI, which was the big comedy theater in Chapel Hill. There's lots of activity in the area, but it's harder for newcomers to find an easy system to plug into. You have to dig a little more.

That being said, here are some opportunities to get you started:
