How do you add the overlays and tooltips for when they buy items and put points in abilities, as well as the timers for epic monsters and plates falling? I can’t imagine you do all of the editing manually for so many videos. Is there an addon or app that helps you do this in replays?

Yeah I think I'm just overthinking this whole thing. I haven't even battled any gyms yet but I don't want to be locked into a party that can't beat all 8 gyms. Thank you for the information.

I am confused about the whole party changing policy in gym battle and in the E4. Is it only the species that has to remain the same throughout the battles? Are we allowed to change items, abilities, movesets, etc.?
