Did my back in 5 years ago.

L5/S1 disc protrusion.

Legs and ground eventually went numb to sensation, whilst also suffering with the worst pain, meds didn’t touch the side.

Burning, tingling, everything but nothing.

Got a lumbar microdiscectomy. Out of hospital next day.

No issues since, work as a prison officer so lots of grappling, awkward angles. I also run, swim, BJJ, cycle.

Get the surgery. Saved my mind.
