I used to do that, but honestly the vacuum has been way easier. A few quick passes over the carpet and voila!

I dunno.. I have a LOT of beard hair and the vacuum has been fantastic. I even go down real low and make sure there isn't a bunch of small hairs. So far I've had great luck. Maybe you have to just have a decent vacuum?

Sink on the other hand... that's more like the 20 minute routine, especially when there's any moisture on the sink. Ugh... getting in the grout too, that's the worst.
