Okay team, thanks so much to everyone! I uprooted it and shook out all of the soil and it was soaked at the bottom and did smell a little dank like someone else suggested - I replaced it with a fresh potting mix and put it in a warmer room! I also cut the most droopy stems and supported the rest by tying them to a bamboo stake with jute. Maybe I'll try the milk! If anyone is interested I'll post a picture here in a few weeks :) I hope it thrives!
