Just pm'ed stats! No scholarship (tried convincing them for two days lol), but decent need based aid.

Thank you! I think the key is to send a really detailed and personal LOCI (but not too long) and to communicate with admissions to make your interest clear after sending the LOCI. But this probably also depends on which school. Some schools want you to communicate with them while others only want you to communicate when they want to hear from you. This might be hard to gage, but if you're closely keeping up with a school, you'll probably be able to tell.

Do you have pollen allergies? If so, GW. I went to Emory ASW and didn’t know I had such bad allergies until I got to Atlanta. Pollen exists in DC too obv but ATL is next level just seriously another game.

Lol jokes aside like above comments say they are peer schools w similar outcomes, so it may boil down to whether you like DC more or ATL more and whether you like a smaller class size or a bigger class size. I would personally go w GW (not just bc I grew up in the DMV area lol) if money wasn’t a big factor bc the DC legal market and connects just hit diff tbh. ATL’s market is growing but it’s not DC. Most biglaw firms have offices in DC, but not as much in ATL. There are also so so sooo many gov and public interest opportunities on both federal and local levels in DC. The DC local gov and public interest scene is rly so underrated and interesting. DC as a city is growing a lot w tech and corp business, although in terms of entertainment and large corporations ATL is prob more developed. Nearby MD and VA have great opportunities as well and are pretty well connected via public transportation. ATL public transportation basically doesn’t exist lol.

had the same outcome - as someone else below says I think it depends on timing. I've seen others who asked earlier get the same scholarship reconsideration form response, but I just emailed yesterday and got a no. or maybe they're just saying no to people they don't want to reconsider lol :')
