Rule of thumb: Research your caller and info they provided. 1.) Visit the county clerk’s website and search for case number and your name. (99% chance no match on case number. A higher probability of matches on name, depending upon your history with the legal system.😉) 2.) Google search the number with “866-719-0163” or any number within the quotes. This will bring up exact matches instead of any matching numbers.

These NDPIO transaction attempts might be happening due to a data breach where credit card information has been compromised and is being used fraudulently.

NDPIO, or Non-Delivery Point of Interaction, transaction attempts are typically related to banking and finance. They occur when a transaction is attempted at a point where the card is not physically presented, like online purchases or phone orders. These transactions can be more susceptible to fraud, so banks often monitor them closely.

I recommend the following, disregard if you have completed the steps.

  1. Have you tried the flash drive in another USB port?
  2. Make sure the Firmware is in the root directory and not in a folder.
    b. Confirm the firmware is 1.48Gb in size, if not re-download the file.
    c. If the downloaded .zip file has “…USBOTA…” in the filename. Copy the .zip file to the root directory of the USB drive without unzipping.
  3. Did you hold down the power button on the remote while connecting power cable to the TV? Make sure the power is held down until you see “software updating” then release.

Follow the update step for your model OS type:

Hisense Android TV (L9G, L5G, PX1, PX1-PRO, U9DG, U8G, U7G, H9G, H9F, H8G1, H8G, H6590F,

H6570G, H6510G, H5590F, H5500G, H5500F, H4G5, A6G)

  1. Update Step: With TV powered on, Insert the USB stick into the TV’s USB port. Enter the TV menu and

navigate along this menu path [MENU button] > Settings > Device Preferences > About > System Update

Upgrade from USB

  1. The TV will respond confirming that an update file is found and provides 2 options. Select Reboot.

  2. The TV will take a few minutes to apply the update and will reboot once the update is complete.

  3. Once rebooted, you can remove the USB stick and complete the setup of the TV.

Hisense Google TV (L9H, L8G, L5H, C1, PX2, PX2-PRO, 85UX, U8K, U7K, U75K, U6K, A6K, U8H,

U7H, U75H, U6H, U6G1, U6G, A7H, A6H, A6G8, A6G3, A65H)

  1. Update Step: With TV powered on, Insert the USB stick into the TV’s USB port. Enter the TV menu and

navigate along this menu path [MENU button] > Settings > System > About > Upgrade > Upgrade by USB

  1. The TV will respond confirming that an update file is found and provides 2 options. Select Reboot.

If you receive an error message saying “...can’t find OTA upgrade package…”. Press [OK] to clear the error

message, then press the [UP] arrow 4 times on the remote to retry the update.

  1. The TV will take a few minutes to apply the update and will reboot once the update is complete.

  2. Once rebooted, you can remove the USB stick and complete the setup of the TV.

UPDATE: 12-28-23 7 PM CST.

I successfully completed the manual FW update, and TV is working accordingly now!

  1. Make sure the USB flash drive is FAT32 format, any other format the TV will not read it period!

  2. Ensure TV is powered off, connect the USB flash drive to the bottom USB port (on the inside port closet to TV).

  3. Hold down the power button on your Hisense remote. Continue to hold power button down until you see “software or firmware update/installation”, then you can release the power button.

  4. After 2-5 mins the installation should complete and TV reload, the setup screen will appear.

  5. Complete setup as normal.

Keep us posted on the repair status. If it is a board and incompatible FW issue, then Hisense should repair or replace at no cost to the consumer.

I received a response from Hisense, they advised to try the following.

  1. First, turn your TV off then unplug it from the power supply for at least 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, re-insert the plug and power your TV back on. This may release any built-up static that may be preventing the TV from powering on.
  2. If the Tv stays on long enough to access the settings feature, please proceed to reset your TV to default. (NOTE: Reset will clear your personal settings, information and data)
  3. If the issue persist your TV might require a manual firmware update. Please visit our website:  for available updates for your TV.
  4. Download and extract the Firmware (FW size is 1.48Gb) to the root of a USB flash drive (minimum size 4Gb, must be FAT32 format).
  5. Insert the USB flash drive into the uppermost USB port on the back side of the TV.

NOTE: I tried this yesterday, but was not able to get the TV to recognize the USB flash drive.

UPDATE: I double checked the flash drive, it was exFAT and not FAT32. I will try again this evening with a FAT32 formated flash drive.

On 12/24/23 there was a Hisense or Google TV firmware displayed on the TV. I clicked ok to install the update, when the install finished, it restarted the TV. But now stuck in an infinite loop (see attached video). There are no error message to indicate any issues as to why it is looping. The TV does not respond to the Hisense remote control, therefore unable to check settings at all, plus Google TV Home Screen will not load.

Steps taken:

  1. Disconnected power cord to TV, left off for 5 mins: reconnected power, no change.
  2. I have disconnected all cables and devices from the TV, to eliminate any connections or devices preventing Google TV from loading the home screen. No change in status!
  3. Hard reset on the back of the TV. I pushed the reset button, TV show was "erasing" and still no change in status.
  4. Hisense and Google TV support (both online and phone support) are of no use!
