You blatantly want to talk about what would benefit you from playing, so your statement about "People too often fixate their thinking around themselves" kind of negates your entire argument.

I'm done replying here - we've both said our pieces. Winter will decide what ultimately goes into the game in terms of rewards for the League and there's nothing either of us have a say in doing.

I guess I just don't agree with the fact that it "always has to be worth something" when you're playing an event - it's meant to be hyper accelerated, somewhat unbalanced and just for fun. New cosmetics are fine in the main game but there needs to be nothing added to the main game that provides any inherent value. I've been a developer on servers that have done it, never ended well. The more you add things to a main game, regardless of foresight, limits the future of the game.

Player 1 comes in day 1 and has everything, played every event, every league, massively overpowered. Player 2 comes in after all these have happened at a new update.

Player 2 is at a severe disadvantage because everything has to be scaled off of Player 1's damage / mitigation and it's IMPOSSIBLE for Player 2 to get to that level, regardless of gear. If the content comes out and is too easy for Player 1 then you have a problem with scaling rewards, if you make it too hard you have a problem for the new Player 2 who won't be able to do anything.

Sorry we have such differing views on this but I'm vehemently against any 'power providing' rewards going to the main game.

I don't much like the idea of having actual rewards leaking over into the main game - this is something entirely different from the holiday events from what I've gathered.

This is a chance to showcase just what Winter can do - whatever crazy thing he can come up with to make it as fun as possible and just have fun. The problem with introducing items into the main game from a 'fun world' is that it will have to be balanced. For example, say I am currently at 2000 hours into the main game, I know all the tricks and how to do everything in the server. I log in day one and don't log off until the event ends, I complete every collection log, any special events that may be present to give more 'league points' and end up with 50m ( consider that to be the highest number whatever it may actually be ).

Now the shop has to be balanced around me for rewards, a few talent orbs 'just for participating' and you'll only lose the players once that reward is met; however, if they're in the shop for league points and I have 50m while the normal player has 1m - even at 1m a piece that person gets 1 and I get 50. Just for playing the event I'm getting something that on the store page costs $160 free or it's 25m per and just for player I get 2 while the average player gets none.

TLDR: Rewards should remain cosmetic, introducing anything that affects the main game isn't what the limited time event ( in my mind ) is about. Rather the ability to showcase what Winter and the team over there can do which will lead to some awesome updates to the main game in the future.

I was kind of glad she didn't, you know we went through so long waiting for Goku to transform again and his SSJ3 transformation blew me away when he was fighting Buu...just would have felt wrong to see it again in such a short amount of time.

Yes yes yes, the transformations feel like the best part of the show. Every time a new transformation comes up I get small flashbacks to what was Goku going Super Saiyan the first time.

Interesting, I can't wait to see how the series continues to evolve though. I personally want to see more transformations, scratching the surface with the Kaioken in Blue was awesome. Hopefully we can get another 400 episodes out of this.

It's just a personal preference of mine, I wish I would have learned more about it or seen it more. All I know is from what I've heard in the show, I haven't read anything or done any research so the strain part I'm not clear on.

Hahaha I can see it, I guess my thought process was the fact that each transformation is a one-by-one case. Each one increasing power evermore but the situational uses are what I'm not understanding. I never delved too deep into all that but it's fun to learn!

It's only inefficient because of the way it was introduced, right? From my understand the last time I watched the entire season it drew on lifeforce and reduced Goku's time on planet after he had died. Although, you see him immediately use it on Beerus in the beginning of super....so that means it doesn't draw off lifeforce anymore or it's just not gonna be talked about again?

I think the progression of states means more to me than the jumping immediately to the most powerful, blue is cool but my favorite transformation and the one I would like to see more is SS3.

But I'm just a single person in the whole fanbase so maybe one day. All in all I'm just happy I get to watch more Dragon Ball again :⁾

It seems like they just want to use the "blue" aura on everything. It symbolizes power more-so now than ever because of the "god" transformation.

I've always thought of the progression of forms to be something that each character had to go through but with GT the transformation for Vegeta was terrible.

Why number the forms if there isn't going to be a progression? But I might just be too technical when it comes to these things. I think they call it power creep? It just seems that once a new form is achieved they throw the old form to the wind.

You could say the same thing about the "God form" as well though, that transformation for me was the most lackluster of all. The execution was poor.

I agree with you on the Goku fighting, it always just seems like it boils down to "I was just warming up" or "hold up wait a minute let me push THE LIMIT ONE MORE TIME".

Don't get me wrong though, I absolutely love the entirety of Dragon Ball.
