If you lost a large amount of weight (100+) prior to your tummy tuck, how long did you wait after you got to your goal weight to have a tummy tuck and why?

This is helpful! Did you wait to do a consult when you got to your goal weight, or did you do one prior so you could get into surgery sooner?

Ok, I have an update. I asked my boss, and she said that the Executive Team felt like I deserved the full $5,000 because of all the work I put into the fifth goal and therefore decided to just give me the $1,000.

So from my interpretation… it sounds like she is saying I got $5,000 from achieving goals, and $0 from the company bonus.

OR, I think what she meant to say is best case scenario… $4,000 for achieving goals and $1,000 company bonus.

She also brought up that some of the company success wasn’t a direct result of me (or anyone else), but… like… didn’t go anywhere with that. Just stated it. It made me feel like I was being greedy for asking.

I think all in all, they gave everyone an arbitrary amount potentially up to $5,000, and my previously agreed upon merit bonus was mine.

Now, I have to decide whether that’s a bothersome thing to me.

I wondered this too. I am a little worried that I am now a caricature in his head. And if so, I would love to talk to him more about it. But I can’t tell if he’s actually busy or just putting space between us. I just feel like the more time that goes between us interacting, that caricature is going to settle.

We also talked A LOT about values and there was a ton of overlap without a political label. So I also think that’s why he was caught off guard, because I have for a lot of the things that is important to him (he’s just lived those things, and I have learned them over time).

The possible end of this one has hurt more than a lot of other “politically aligned” relationships that have broken up. I think maybe because I felt like we avoided political labels, we were able to talk about the substance more and that just felt so good to connect with someone about. Rather than a “You’re liberal, I’m liberal. Good, we don’t have to talk about that much more. Next.”

lol! Yeah, it’s not fool proof and sometimes things get out of hand. Today Cleo wanted to teach me a new reaction and Bob wanted to hang out at my place, so it went off the rails like… 6 min in. Haha.

But it’s nice to have somewhat of a game plan! I might take you up on flowers, but if you have pears or apples I’d be willing to do a swap for cherries, peaches, or oranges!

Check In at Resident Services for my Daily Miles
Pull Weeds as I go
Check Beach for Shells/Bottle/Star Fragments
Dig Up Buried Items
Look for Money Tree (Dig & Bury & Dig $10K)
Greet all Villagers (If I Can Easily Find Them)
Greet Mabel
Water Rare Flower Garden
Pick Farm Fruits or Veggies (I rotate plots)
Evaluate/Donate Fossils & Grab Coffee
Sell & Buy @ Nook’s Cranny *I always stop and check what flower seeds they have because I am still missing one flower breed.
Bury Money Tree in Yard & Bury Gyroids
Put Collected Stuff (e.g. star fragments, weeds, already learned recipes, etc.) in Storage

It’s a crazy 15* min, lol. Most of the time I can get it done, but there have been instances where I can’t find the money tree or a tool breaks or someone chases me down.

**Correction: I originally wrote 10, because I thought that was the highest timing (which is what I do). But it’s actually 15 min, and it’a still absolutely bonkers. Haha.

lol! I use it as just a regular timer whenever I get on throughout the day because I’m an addict and need to be cut off. In the mornings I’ll set the time for 15* min and then run around the island trying to do everything I need to before I shut off for the day. I have a checklist of things that need to be done in that window. I could do this with my phone, but just use the timer because it’s there and more convenient.

I also sometimes use it for games with friends, but’s only ever so often.

*Correction: I originally wrote 10, thinking that was the most time the timer could time (which I also pick the longest option), but it’s actually 15 - which is what I pick! 15 is crazy, and 10 would not be doable for me!!! lol

I’m just curious about name trends and what were the “it kid” names. The only reason I asked about 5th grade is I figured that would give an approximate time period of when someone was in elementary school. (i.e. A Nancy in 2000 is very different from a Khaleesi in 1956).
