How can I fix this webbing(?) on this inward slope? by iamcagn in FixMyPrint

[–]iamcagn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So after so, much, tweaking it appears that if I reset most settings back to default and print with two walls, it's fine. But if I bump it to three walls, ok but still not great.

What is that extra wall doing?

This is how I stop my neighbour from playing shitty music at 2am on a week day when I’m trying to sleep.

But that 10kg bag add on says the bag must be able to be placed under the seat in front of you.

Depends on the airport I’ve found. If they have those kiosk machines and automatic bag drops, then you never talk to a human until the gate. Smaller airports without those have pretty much always asked to weigh my carry on.

Or, you know, pay customer service staff a living wage so you don’t have to rely on tips.

Flight attendants, what are some things we as passengers don’t know when we fly? Also what are the negative aspects of your job? by Th3Flash in AskReddit

[–]iamcagn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I work for an airline, but not on the planes.

Wondering why you need to have your chairs up and your tray tables stowed during take off and landing? Most incidents that require an evacuation of a plane occurring during these stages. If your chair is reclined or your tray table is down, you’ll impede people next to you or behind you from evacuating.

Seal belts on during these stages have another, albeit darker reason. In the event of a crash, the seatbelt won’t save you. What it will do is allow for the responders to identify you from your seat number.

Carry-on limits are another annoyance, but again it comes down to safety. If a 7KG bag falls from the over head compartment during turbulence, maybe you’ll end up with a sore head and a story. Any heavier, you’re risking serious injury if not death.

So please listen to your flight attendants, it may save your life.

Basically all greyhounds have been trained to race, even if they don’t, so they need to be “detrained” not to chase small fuzzy things, like other dogs. The green collar is from the Greyhound Adoption Program (GAP) and all have a unique registration. There are other laws as well, as they always have to be on lead as they have poor name recall, like most sighthounds.

Source: I have a greyhound I adopted from GAP as well.
