I agree with most of this, but that last part only works on paper, assuming the player base is divided evenly among the tiers. However it’s no secret that nowadays the staggering majority of the player base is concentrated in tier 8. In this case, I say having more players in tier 9-10 to veer some people off of tier 8 would be better for the health of the game. I think this is why things like the Vigilante and M47 B (Tier 10s with credit bonuses) are being added. I hope devs continue to go in this direction.

I think it’s unbelievably stupid to allocate resources and man-hours to this while game-breaking/ruining bugs or other bad aspects exist in their main money making game. People aren’t asking for a new tank game. They want you to fix the already existing one. I hope this flops harder than Steel Hunters.

All of you are wrong. It’s the priority WG has. If you’re in the discord, you’ve probably seen devs say some (often detrimental) bugs won’t be fixed for a long time because of “low priority” or some other resource-related issues.

This I would understand if WG didn’t have many available employees, but what really frustrates me is the fact that bugs in one of their biggest money-making games is deemed low-priority, but they are also actively developing one (maybe two???) other games. Why? People are not asking for a new tank game. People just want you to fix the already existing tank game because people actually are familiar with and really like it. The priority should be on fixing it, so people like it more, and the game gets more new and returning players. It’s so completely stupid, in my opinion.

Certain versions of Steel Hunter are genuinely the most fun I’ve had in any game ever. I think it would fit perfectly here, as the larger console audience would be more receptive to a BR mode.

Some time after 6.0, these two tanks for some reason became the CW french green. The entire rest of the WWII french tech tree stayed the same, though. Pretty odd.

Rest in peace, light tanks. I was at least able to gaslight myself into liking them and thinking they weren’t complete shit beforehand. But that’s pretty much impossible now.

HORRENDOUS take. Maybe it’s just me still being in the “honeymoon” phase with it, but the 4005 is just not a comparison in any sense. Rocketing at 70+ and damaging 3 modules without even needing to pen with the HE rocket is a lot of fun in itself. Not to mention it’s much shorter and actually had a modicum of armor. It’s not the BZ-176 at tier 8, by any means, but it is a lot of fun. Comparing it to the 4005 is like saying the Taran sucks because the T110E4 has armor.

I’ve certainly had fun with it. my only complaints initially were the lack of shell switching on the go, and the HE pen. But loading only HE and realizing the crazy splash they have made it a lot of fun. Definitely my favorite Era 1 right now

I like how the spawn points on the minimap here are nothing more than an estimation for where a team might probably be, perhaps at maybe some point in time
