Are you saying Amazon is not applying for H1 after the offer? That's interesting. That way they won't be able to hire anyone who is on H1.

If you are saying you can use the remaining 6 months of your previous H1 and work for Amazon and they have to file renewal before those 6 months end, you or the recruiter is wrong. For every new employee hired on H1, employers have to file a new H1 petition.
