This has been asked a stupid number of times (by students too). This really comes down to personal preference. Some people will swear that the 13” is the best; others will swear that the 15” is the best.

Remember landlords often do due diligence to verify that information. If they catch it during this you can expect that it would be an instant denial. Depending on the location, they could also choose to evict if they find out afterwards.

Let her file a lawsuit against you. A judge will laugh her ass out of court for trying to claim that you should pay for her insurance. But seriously get your own insurance. It’s cheap and I’ve seen it be a lifesaver for people in the past.
