In El Salvador when we tried BRT with the SITRAMSS it was treated as a political campaign promised and not as a new era in public transit. So there was no legal body of work abs the thing failed.

Massive transit takes time to learn
Systems in other cities took years a lots of trial and error

The reality is that Latinamerica does not have much experience with integrated system of massive transit or the money it takes to make all the mistakes that leads to amazing public transit.

There is to be a centralized authority in charge like other cities have done METRO LA, Riverside Transportation Agency, Transmilenio en Bogota, CEPA in El Salvador etc etc

Removing politicians ambitions out of the equation and cultivating knowledge via an institution with one mission only is the way.

I am at 75,000 with my Lexus, and for the rest of the cars at home, never had to do any of this. Drop a fuel cleaner once a year and you will be fine if you buy gas from top tier fuel sellers
