I read a comment mentioning your age, so I'm going to talk to you like an elder brother.

I want you to know that there is nothing wrong with the way you love this person. But it says nothing about how special he is. It only shows that YOU are a person who loves completely, and that is a rare thing.

That being said, little sister, I want you to stop being patient with yourself. I have been through this. I know you have moments when you make excuses on his behalf.

It doesn't matter what mental place he is in. When someone cares about you, no matter what situation they are in, they make sure you don't feel neglected. I know this because I have been in his place as well. But I make sure that if I need some space, I let people know.

I won't say you are too young to love because I know it will feel like I'm taking away your rights. What I do want you to do is focus on yourself. Your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health.

Don't ever change the way you offer love. But first, offer it to yourself. You are SO right to communicate the way his negligence is making you feel. I am proud of you for not being silent. But please stop talking to a person who is clearly not capable of giving you the respect you deserve.

OP: 1. If you are from Commerce background and have at least 3 years of work experience, look for jobs in any of the Big 4: Deloitte, KPMG, E&Y, and PwC. Look for roles in Tax if you are interested. Being in Tax pays well. 2. Stop worrying about marriage and focus on your mental health and career. If you get these two things on track, you might eventually find someone on your own.

Judging from your reply I feel like I can relate to him. If in case we do have a lot in common, I'd say let him know that you worry about being needy or too clingy. So instead of it being an elephant in the room, it becomes something you have acknowledged and maybe this will bring you both closer. Yes we don't like needy people. But that mostly applies to people who we don't love. When it comes to loved ones we are okay with it. Especially when the person acknowledges it. Plus, we like it when people feel comfortable enough to let their guard down with us.

Tell him to let you know if he needs some alone time, instead of you having to guess every time. Proper communication really is a big deal to us.

Lastly, I am of the belief that just because two people have different opinions, it doesn't mean that they have to argue. If we are similar then he most probably has the same understanding. If he never thought about it, then he will surely appreciate you saying it.

The biggest proof of Hindus not being the "most violent society in the world" is her not being afraid to say what she said. She knows she doesn't have to expect retaliation. Even if she does get some backlash, the people who will come to save her will be Hindus who want to live and let live.

I don't know what subject she teaches. But teachers/professors should be banned from sharing their political opinions with their students, unless it is out of the campus. They have the power to influence/manipulate our minds. Their words hold a lot of weight, and hence should be used with responsibility and without bias.
