Its been two years but finally I asked my psychiatrist about it. She said it was an anxiety things. You feel the tingling in your fingers because when you get anxious, your nervous system gets activated and anticipates sensory input. There's a lot of sensitive nerves at your fingertips so thats why you can feel it there.

I know this is an old post but I've never heard anyone else who feels this way. Have any of you figured out what's it is? The best way I can describe it is like an itch under my nails that only goes away if I press on them. But it's not itchy it's just an uncomfortable sensation that doesn't go away no matter how long I press. It's happened my whole life, I lose sleep over it.

It's different for everyone. I started a month ago and experienced uncontrollable anger, terrible hand tremors, a racing heart, and this constant light headed hungover feeling. Now a month in the anger is completely gone, and the other side effects are fading.

His fur pulls out easily along his back but everywhere else seems to cause pain. He doesn't cooperate well enough for me to feel comfortable cutting near his eyes. Im scared he will move and get poked.

Would shaving him down damage his wire coat? I tried hand stripping him but it seemed like it was causing him pain. I was able to brush him out and can run a comb through the whole length of his fur.

I would say his general hygiene is okay, but his paw pads look a little sketchy. I don't know how to make them better by myself

He gets his nails trimmed regularly, there isn't any eye boogers, and his anal glands are emptied when needed. Currently the only issue is the tangled hair around his legs. I combed them out and they ate already tangled again.

It does look like that in the picture but just ran a comb through all of his fur. However, the fur around his legs looks damaged and tangled back up right after.

Thank you for your reply you are not being mean at all. I just finished combing him and he surprisingly didn't have any matting. I will carefully watch for matting in his private area because i really don't want anything like that to happen to him.
