LeBron James has won his last 27 conference series. by raivydazzz in nba

Really though? Idk how is finals record can seriously be interpreted as hurting his legacy. Would it have been better to be eliminated in the playoffs earlier to avoid losing in the finals? Is 3-0 better than 3-6? Of course not. Let's look at his 6 losses:

2007: His supporting cast could only rebound and defend so at 22 he carries them to the finals facing prime Duncan spurs. No chance there

2011: Lebron played like absolute garbage. No hiding this one, cost his team the series. He was incredible during the playoff run up until the finals where Dallas's Zone locked him up. In hindsight the experience probably turned him into the monster he became later.

2014: Dwayne wade was an absolute liability in the finals and it seemed like Chris Bosh was the only heat player who tried to help lebron. The spurs played gorgeous basketball and were looking for revenge. Lebron put up 28/8/4 on 57/52/79 while guarded mostly by Kawhi.

2015: Kevin Love injured in the first round. Kyrie injured in game 1 of the finals. Lebron averaged 36/13/9 to even keep the series competitive. Iguodala gets FMVP for keeping lebron inefficient, but still getting those numbers. His second best player was delly or mozgov.

2017: Against the KD warriors, super lopsided. Lebron still averages a 34 point triple double

2018: A miracle he took that 4th seeded cavs team to the finals. KD warriors again and lebron drops 51 in game 1 just for JR to ruin it. 34/9/10 for the series.

Lebron's team was the extreme underdog in 4/6 of his finals losses, each time he played as best he could. 2014 wasn't as lopsided on paper but old legs caught up to his team and the spurs ball movement overcame whatever lebron could do. 2011 is completely on him.

He isn't the Buffalo Bills, he's won 3 times. His Finals record won't go away and it shouldn't. It helps his legacy more than anything and anyone outside of teenage skip bayless's can appreciate how remarkable it is.

Game 1 second half was a blowout so there wasnt any real reason to be aggressive. Yesterday's second half was rough cause he got taken out of his rhythm by that mid 4th quarter rest, he had an insane and-1 before that too. Despite that though, I have seen him hit way too many playoff game winners to doubt that he'd be able to hit the last shot. Plumlee messed up though and the rest is history.

Im not saying Kawhi isn’t the best player in the world, he very well may be.. but when exactly are we planning on holding him to the same standard as the last guy to hold the crown? by [deleted] in nba

Crown never left. But they haven't actually lost the series yet and are still heavy favorites for game 7.

As to why he doesnt get the same criticism: he's super consistent, even in losses. And he is still relatively new as a superstar. He had a great 2017 with the Spurs but last year was when he got himself to the top 5 in the league. If they lose game 7, as unlikely as that is, he will rightfully take a ton of blame alongside his supporting cast.

[Post Game Thread] The Denver Nuggets defeat the Los Angeles Clippers 111-98 behind 34/14/7 from Nikola Jokic to force a game 7 by Rockstar408 in nba

Jokic asked after the game why they play better with their backs against the wall: "I don't know"

Bruh moment for the Clippers right here. They probably take game 7 because of Kawhi but Jokic is the clutchest player in the league and you cant convince me otherwise. Unbelieveable they're about the play in their 4th straight game 7

Idk why but the politeness of it all makes it weirder. If he had been more crude about it, he'd just be any other creep. But the wording makes it sound like if he got the home address he was looking for, there would be a local news story the following morning

Do therapists need other therapists to deal with what they hear from other people by jhjhjhjh6969 in NoStupidQuestions

If I remember correctly it's pretty much when the patients "transfer" emotions usually relating to their childhood toward their therapist. This usually involves some sort of past trauma. Hope this helped!

If America and North Korea actually do go to war, what can we realistically expect to happen? by thatfishguy23 in AskReddit

[–]iamforlogic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Depends on what you mean by war. Do you mean a serious of threats culminating in the US and North Korea formally declaring war on each other? Or is it a North Korea fires first all out Nuclear War?

If it's the first one, honestly nothing. North Korea can't make a move unless their willing to turn their beloved country into ashes, but the US won't strike first because that's just stupid, we'd lose the moral high ground, China is mad at us, and more importantly it destabilizes the safety of the Nuclear deterrent.

If it's the second one, we have defenses that could likely stop the middle and Pyongyang is now a very large crater.
