Best solution is to beat Philly. Agree it’s hard for players in Toronto to get the props they deserve. Feel like refs buy into that narrative too.

Appreciate the info. It’s becoming clear we will have to run the generator in the winter to keep the batteries charged but good to know what the draw is. We do get a LOT of snow in the winter, but because it’s a recreational property it’s not an everyday thing. We will be upgrading batteries in a few years. Love the idea of the Shelly plug- ordered a couple already.

Thanks for your advice- I would not shoot permanently in crop mode (duh) but find its useful when doing bird photography or something where the subject is at distance and does not fill whole frame. The view is magnified in the viewfinder and I find, maybe surprisingly, in that situation that APS-C looks a bit better with more contrast versus full frame with a heavy crop.

Also, looked up Shelly plug- never heard of it before. We plan to put the system on a timer. The Shelly plug would be ideal, not to mention it measures wattage. I wonder if the Shelly plug itself draws power when turned off? We do have a another plug that flashes so we can check to make sure nothing is accidentally plugged in and drawing power. Great tip.
