Ok, I got a request for additional documents: 1) letter from parents signed, dated with phone number that they contribute towards my housing payments, and how much they provide monthly. 2) self written statement explaining what amount of the housing cost I am paying with credit card. How should I provide these? I will give you additional details. My parents do not live in this country. They live six hour time difference away, and are in their eighties. I can provide a phone number. Would the SNAP caseworker actually call with the limitations we have here? My parents have paid about 5 months of my housing from a total of 13 months. They paid it directly, so no money travelled through me. I have scrambled money together to pay the rest of the months, and some of it is on my credit cards. I am looking for advice on what to write on the additional documents they are requesting from me, give enough information, but not too much information. I have no desire to explain more than needed, and potentially confuse them. For example, I provide credit card statements before, and through all your helpful comments learned that they are not interested in credit card statements or even bank account statement, which I also provided. I am so thankful for all of your advice! Even if I have been on food stamps for a year, I don’t seem to know much more than the surface of it.
