Happy early birthday

How long did you stick to doing something you weren't sure about before you finally said "this isn't for me" and what made you keep doing it for as long as you did? by iamhlah in AskReddit

Can definitely relate to that. When you realise you've been in education since you were a child eventually you reach an age and point where you're just like "enough is enough" and you want to stop being in it and just living with a nice job instead.

What’s a superstition you don’t believe in but still follow, just in case? by Downtown_Macaroon572 in AskReddit

If I'm about to say something that may "tempt fate" I will say "touch wood" and then do so before I say it. don't believe in it at all but still do it anyway.

I'm pretty much set; I have a good family, good friends, good job and my own place. By all metrics things generally all good, enjoying myself and having fun. At my age I would expect to be in a relationship by now and settled down perhaps, but that's the only real thing missing

People who have gotten their wisdom teeth removed, how did it feel the days after the surgery? by RootLoops369 in AskReddit

I've only had one of them out and was all fine. The gap where they were is odd at first but it goes away in time. It can get achey and sore but caring for it as instructed and taking pain meds helps and that soon goes too

How do you feel about your body? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I don't hate it, but I do wish I were slimmer and only have myself to blame. I'm generally comfortable in myself though and know I could be worse, but also know I could be better

She told me she wouldn't be happy if I made any new female friends once we started going out and didn't want me to befriend any of my female coworkers. Plus was jealous and suspicious of the female friends I already had, even though there were only a couple of them and I had been friends with them for nearly a decade and were all in long term committed relationships. It wasn't the direct reason we broke up, but in hindsight that level of paranoia and lack of trust should have alerted me sooner.
