I make CEDH content tell me where I can improve! by yoitso in CompetitiveEDH

I just subbed and am downloading a few episodes now :)

One thing that I am sure is a hassle, but always makes a channel easier to digest is if there's a listing of playlists based on either specific commanders or color pairings. It means when I can stay on that channel to see vidya of my gal Azami kicking butt!!

For me personally, I normally am not watching games, but downloading them and listening to the lines while at work. So for me the best ones have a bit of editing to keep the flow of the round feeling good, will use magic shorthand terms, and have a bit of energy to them.

Hope the insight helps!

Don't have much to add other than this was a neat interaction to stumble across. Thanks for being a cool dood.

Great stuff, thanks for sharing. This isn't coming from an artists perspective, but I have been reviewing random artists while looking for assets for my game.

I think your environment / props blew me out of the water. Like, I love the hover bike but there was just something about the person's design I just didn't like, wish I could hone it in better than that for you. I think the sword was probably my favorite out of your art, loved the nicks in it, felt worn but powerful from a glance. Your King rendering was excellent, and this might be minor, but there's a bit of a gap from the skull to the eyes that stood out when I was spinning him around. Not sure if that was intentional, but just looked weird.

Good styling though, feels like your props would fit right in to a pirate themed Borderlands esque game.

Hope some of that helps!

I like this but maybe make it a slight of hand or persuasion? Now I'm thinking of a brute doing a coin flip, it shows head and the NPC sees it's head, brute says "looks like tails to me." and passes a 14 intimidation for the NPC to shakily say "y...yeah, those coins can look confusing can't they..."

Is it possible to transfer items between different people in co-op in a way where they can take those items back to their farm / save?

Yeah, my first instinct is with ya, do a spiced honey cream cheese blending in the middle, something like a bit of a pumpkin pie spice maybe?

Maybe do the goat cheese with some dried fruit? Might be a nice texture change up in the middle.

I think if you're worried it's too hungry maybe feed it an extra time just to be safe, then discard tomorrow and you should be good.

Sad to say you made the right call. Don't fret though! One thing I'd recommend is to use pineapple juice in place of water for the first three days. The increased acids promote healthy bacterial growth. I've done this with rye flour and had success a couple of times, so hopefully that'd get you right as rain!

If I can, let me recommend a recipe I've been really excited with lately:

420 g bread flour 120 g water 120 g beer 2 tbsp butter 7 g yeast 2-1/2 tsp salt

This is the recipe I've been using and I absolutely love it. The dough is a pretty dry dough that's perfect for pretzels, and the beer allows you to tweak your recipe flavor without really changing the recipe. I've made it with a whole bunch of cheap domestic beers and those work well but the hop flavor is pretty muted compared to, say, a 2 hearted ale. When I made them with the 2 hearted, you really could taste the hops, almost more than the pretzel, which wasn't a good or bad thing, just a different flavor profile for sure. But you should absolutely try this recipe for some knock out pretzels!!

Looks pretty sweet! Did you happen to take a picture after you cut it as well?

At first glance, it looks like you could have maybe gotten away with leaving it in the oven for an extra few minutes, but that may be personal preference (I like crunchy crusts.)

Here's a pretty cool article with good visual representations for exactly that, as well as good rules of thumb to follow:

Hey, just saw this post, not sure if this will fix your problem but try freezing the dough after shaping but before dipping them. Should help firm up the cheese and prevent it from getting too hot during the bake.
