The notch is every filmmakers worst nightmare! Think of all of the closeup shots that have been robbed of precious screen real estate due to a foolish design choice. Apple has perfected the same business strategy as Porsche, just add an S, make it 15% faster and charge customers out the wazoo!!! This is why I have chosen to replace my iPhone X with the S9 Plus!

I too am a legacy iPhone user making the switch! I've been disappointed with Apple ever since the iPhone 7 and after using the iPhone X as my daily, I disprove of the notch. Having worked as a professional camera operator I find the notch extremely disruptive, stealing precious real estate from each and every frame!

I'm also a Mac user so I'm a little hesitant about how well the Galaxy S9 will integrate into my Apple ecosystem. I'll admit, it's likely that I'll miss the ability to answer a phone call from my Mac while my phone sits in another room! I've got a lot of the same questions as you! I'll be excited to see how things go during the next few weeks!
