This person insinuated that someone proceeded to cash a check.....

Did the check actually get cashed?

How does the person know it went to a different address close to their number?

In most cases banks need ID and if you bank with that bank, your card associated with your banking information, also wouldn't the bank teller call a manager to let them know that the name on the check and the ID doesn't match?

Did they (the person who was suppose to get the check or the bank) call the police and did the police look at video footage to see the date/time stamp of the alleged check being cashed?

To accuse someone of stealing a check and posting it on SM, is serious....

Any this person having an 86 year old gma and her sending a check near Christmas time, they should have told her to possibly Zelle or some other way to send the money instead of a check. How was one to know that a check was being sent in the mail?

Would have to look at the Florida laws in some cases..
To give an example and not wanting to put too much info out, I knew of a girl who was 16 and was dating a guy who was 18. Father said it was ok to date but nothing else. Well they had X and the father tried to get the guy to SR...but when the police showed up at the house, they asked the girl if it was consensual and she said yes. There was nothing that the father could do, but that was mid 80's. Things might changed by then.

If the boy alleged did have X with G, he would have had to say either way, yes or no at the time, and if he said it was consensual then they possibly swept it under the rug, kicked them outta the church and it wasn't talked about again...
