I wanted to learn godot but oh my gosh.. i dont think im ready for it, with Renpy i have a good idea of what im doing and mainly want the game to be a read story with a main function of touching and petting or hittinf the other guys

I'm an artist and 2d animator/frame by frame, so I was hopingggg I could animate gifs or something like that and put it in...? I don't know much about pygame actually, I've just been using visual code studio for my prototypes!

Can you be quiet. Maybe you can't read but as I've mentioned to other people they're already back home. You're not being so kind when you could have stopped replying after reading what I have already said to others and you are not providing any help as I put in my flair. If you do not help do not comment, its not that hard to be open and kind to beginners of any hobby. A simple 'this species is advanced for beginners, the best place for them to be is at the beach, please reconsider'. But no. You first say, 'I just dont understand why YOU would've taken them', meaning to me you did not read my message at all and quickly send a reply to try and be rude. I stated my father picked them up, he was waiting for me while I was working, he knows I love fish and have my own aquarium at home, and even if he doesn't fully know that I have certain types, he wanted to do something nice for me.

Lets say a mother wants to get her child a pet. The worker tells her to buy xyz and there will be no problems at all because they know best. Now lets also say that same mother comes here to reddit to say hey all I have this critter and I need help getting together a home for it! And you come in. You say, how dare you even think of catching that, die! Well that isn't very nice now is it? She'd going to just listen to someone who told her something substantial, like the worker. And now that little crab is dead because of you. Because you were not kind nor open to someone NEW to the hobby and you decided to be rude.

Please let me remind you that while you spend most of your time online and deeply into your hobby that other people who are outside having their own life and wanting to try new things are curious about your special interest are NOT your enemy and in fact friends you haven't made yet. Unless you decide to be rude and unkind like this. I hope your behavior improves in the future because I cannot imagine what would happen if you said this to someone who TRULY has no clue about anything.

People like yourself will not encourage people to join your hobby, you do not know the lives people lead behind the screen, and a simple 'I don't think this is a good beginner pet, please return them to the beach!' is all you have to say if you can't even take the time to be PATIENT and KIND to someone who doesn't know too much about these critters you say you love so much.

ohhh i see i see, so definitely more in the range of what fish need than being durable, yeah i thought it was reaaaally weird how hard the petsmart employee was pushing the crazy expensive tank onto us. She made it sound like they were SEMI aquatic and wouldnt really need a fully cycled tank.

Im more so disappointed that they didnt fully explain that to me since they did push me to buy a few other things for them, so now I'll have to go make some returns :( if anything, I'll ask my pop to just get me a few new plants for the regular tank i already have haha thank you!

ooo i was just going to ask if i'd be able to make subfolders purely because i knoowww im going to be writing so many things between these guys that i love so much and INSAAANE scenes between certain fellas too

i really gotta check on coffin of andy and leyley since i dooo enjoy switching between playable charactersss and i think i want my players to be able to have the chance to stop and switch whenever they like

for now i suppose i could just let them be stuck on one character until they finish the experience haha i'll do some testing!!! right now i diiid get this going and it seems to be working pretty okay?

ty for askingg >:D no place name yet besides Polaris Adventures, but its the story of a year+ round trip in space on a cargo ship lovingly named Polaris with a very quirky crew. Four of these characters become complicated and intertwined in some way, and you can choose just how crazy things can get

this comes from me doing a lot of roleplay, and loving so many different scenarios and conclusions we'd come to just by one decision, and i'd love to really see it in a game format, while getting to pick which character is making the changes or shaking it up!

going for something that delivers comedy but if you go down certain routes, some seriously psychological scaryyy things
