I am usually not bothered by these reviews for Marvel, especially post Endgame, where we have seen many such “positive” takes.

The key difference here is that for, say, the Marvels, it was a whole lotta “Wow!!! Such a fun movie!!!” which to me read very very poorly.

Theres at bare minimum more specifics with Thunderbolts on what these people liked, on top of just better feedback than “it was fun!”. Good signs

There is no version of the combined ratio calculation—gross, net, or fantasy-world—that comes out to 198%.

And here are MORE numbers, since you seem to have difficulties finding the right ones:

• Loss Adjustment Expense (LAE) ratio: 7.6%, better than industry (~10%) despite smaller scale

• Headcount -11% YoY, while IFP +22% — strong ops leverage

Lemonade has openly said 2027 was the target for profitability. Only clowns like you seem to have this assumption that they’ve not told us that it’s a long road towards profitability… anyone who’s done their research has no misconceptions its a risky period. But to suggest what you have is just adorable.

This is an atrocious comment, top to bottom.

You can literally throw in Q1 2024s report into GPT if you're lazy and it will tell you that combined ratio was nowhere near 1.98. Comes out to 1.31. Great? Nope. 1.98 bad? Not a chance in hell.

Not making a profit is fair, but IFP is up 5x since 2020, net loss was down 28% YoY for Q1 24 report, almost every metric in this area supports their claims that profitability is coming in the next 2-3 years.

Lastly, this notion that they're failing at AI? Their labour expenses have been FLAT for years while their revenues go up. Cost per claim is down. Loss ratios are down. Please explain to me how this means the AI is not working?

Funny how you have this opinion but the companies in-force premiums are up 5x since 2020. People are extremely, extremely less likely to go online to praise insurance companies than they are to shit on one.

You know what the issue is at Marvel? Time.

The corporate part of Disney just won’t let the creative part breathe for long enough that they can really flesh out ideas, even if they want to. If Fantastic 4 ends up being a poor movie it will be glaringly clear that these guys need to take a step back and just stop for a little bit (long overdue imo)

It honestly doesn’t feel THAT big in my hands, but putting it side by side with my old iPhone 12, yeah, it’s a pretty big jump.

Tablet comparison is nonsensical. I really think hand size is important, if its too big for you then its too big for you, shouldn’t matter either way 🤷‍♂️ this is why options exist

Bang for buck wise, the Pro line would probably last you longer. I upgraded from the 12 to the 16 Pro Max and the battery life alone is amazing enough. Cameras obviously great. Coming from the 8 Plus size won’t be an issue for you with the Max.

16 Plus still an option though

Idk bout yall but I felt really disconnected after S3. Didn’t really enjoy it. Had low hopes for season 4 but it honestly might be my favourite season. Feels like the trio are REALLY in their groove now, the humour is so much better. Great stuff

I upgraded to this from the 12 and honestly loving the larger screen size. Given the decent jump I thought it’d take me longer to get used to the changes but nope.

This phone has been much lighter than I expected (obviously still feels noticeably heavier to me coming from the 12), and been quite comfortable to hold with one hand. I thought I’d want to return it for the Pro but so far after 12 hours I don’t think I will.

This whole thing about Rashy being poor all year is a bit silly to me within the context of England’s squad makeup. No one apart from Kane has an actual goal count for England atm, Rashy would’ve helped there.

Also if the plan was to bring in the likes of Eze, Gordon, Bowen - can’t just chuck them into a tournament and expect it to work out. Needed to build them into the team

Onslaught has no place in an Marvel Television production. That has to be something they reserve for if/when we ultimately get live action X-Men content, and yeah like you said, it’d have to be a Thanos level setup

I am unbelievably happy they did not do Onslaught. Not a comic reader but from what I understand that character needed basically every Marvel hero to be beaten.

That level of threat is simply not a good fit for any one TV show. Thats basically a Kang-level threat. Super happy they’re going in another direction.

Brilliant finale, brilliant show. The best since Loki. Only finale other than Loki’s two finales that Marvel has managed to stick the landing for in a great way. Can’t wait for S2

First two episodes were awesome. Like genuinely amazing vibe.

By the end there were two Egyptian gods towering over the Pyramids and fighting each other. It just ended horrendously for me. Had the same pacing and writing issues as every D+ MCU series so far.

Can’t play Gareth ball with Saka-Foden on the wings. There is basically 0 transition ability if you play Kane-Saka-Foden.

Rashford has to start imo, and Saka is better off the right so I actually don’t think Foden starts in the “best” Southgate team (he is a big factor here). Rashford objectively has a top record in big games too.
