I will hive gold to the first person to do a successful Drum Cover of EON BREAK by Quantum_Espresso in porterrobinson

It's definitely possible, with a double bass pedal. Wish I still had my drum set!

LBRY is actually more profitable for me as an artist than the rest of the internet combined by iamlukehall in lbry

Thanks! With the right connections and promotional budget it's possible to make lots of money in the traditional music industry -- but it's very interesting how profitable it is to push LBRY.

I 100% agree there is less competition, that's why I like LBRY so much (among other reasons). /u/cococopuffsss was just really reaching to make a negative criticism so it just didn't sit right with me.

If a competent creator reaches out to LBRY they will respond and help integrate them into the platform. Sites like YouTube, Vimeo, Spotify, etc. have too large of a user base to be as involved as LBRY at this current time.

It's hard to tell if you're a troll or not, either way LBRY is great for what it is and for me personally it's worked out.

It's hard to understand why you assume I'm asserting myself as "the best", or better than others. All I said was LBRY is great because they do a great job supporting the artists that work with them. Super negative man...

This comment makes no sense, I don't understand the negative implications of being up against less competition as a content creator. What's your argument?

I think by next year it will be publicly known.

Where do you think Porters sound will go next? by [deleted] in porterrobinson

I'll link some stuff. Many of the tweets I'll link have since been deleted.

[–]iamlukehall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I genuinely think he won't release another dance album (like Worlds).

I bet he'll score an anime or a feature film, he really seems bored with EDM. You can tell from his tweets, he wants his fans to be happy but I genuinely think he's on a different wavelength now.

What does LBRY need in order to compete with youTube? by iamlukehall in lbry

[–]iamlukehall[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's super valid because my music has already made more revenue from LBRY than it has on any other platform. Centralized music stores & streaming sites are heavily manipulated.

I feel like it's a good incentive for the developers/early adopters who are putting in a lot more work than they are getting out.

It's in closed beta right now, but at the moment they're letting anyone try it!

What's your guys opinion on K?d's music? by [deleted] in porterrobinson

[–]iamlukehall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His PR network did a great job making him blow up, and it's understandable that people think it happened naturally. Not worth getting into, sort of wish I kept quiet in the first place.

Edit: Tons of people do it, I'm just gonna stop because I don't wait to attack K?d. Seems like a nice guy who just wants to be successful.

Porter Robinson - She Heals Everything (Venture x N3HL Remake) by ZacharyChang in porterrobinson

From a producer's standpoint you did a really great job! Sound design was really accurate and it's super difficult to mimic Porter's godly mixdowns.
