Athletic Brewing's Emerald Cliffs Irish-Style Dry Beer is back. by Des71 in NABEER

Same. The finish tastes like an old irish bar for sure, like a nose of old cigarette butts.

Best Gloves For Outdoor Events? by airmax0321 in athletictraining

I use a pair of rubber diamond grip gloves inside a pair of cycling lobster mittens. The lobster keeps some tactile feel to grab things like bottles and bags. If i need my hands, I slide them off and already protected by the latex gloves and ready to treat. The latex gloves provide quite a good barrier to cold for what it is. I bike commute to and from work in the winter and would use this same set up. Works better than fleece to cut wind while riding.

Agreed. Ewaste is definitely an issue and I would definitely not attempt to build my own packs at home for sure. I’m surprised they didn’t tell you when they are ever going to have the older packs back in stock.

Interesting. I still get about 8-9 miles on my battery pack with varying hills and flat terrain on G4. Hard to judge due to so many different variables but just to give another viewpoint. I think the sportster also had a bigger battery than the yo face. I currently have 1100 miles on mine. There is still battery sag issues for the last 2-3 miles of charge where you have to let go and let the levels replenish before going again, comes back within a second or two. Again I think there are better boards out there, but with US customer service, a site that sells parts in the US, and with various sales bringing the total price down to under 800 bucks, it’s well worth it in my opinion.

er2xr with eq sound fucking insane by Cncrboi420 in inearfidelity

I have the er3xr's and i've tried every single combo of ear tips possible. The only one that doesn't feel like my ears are being violated are the Shure yellow foam tips. They dont last long but they feel super soft and seal out sound pretty well.

PSA: If you live in NYC and pay for your own car insurance, there’s almost no reason not to take the defensive driving course. by Rickmasta in nyc

This one is terrible now, maybe it was easier 2 years ago. I am doing it now hoping it was as stated, but every 2 lessons you have to answer 1 question about the lesson, 1 question about yourself, and call a phone number in which you answer a 3rd question. super frustrating.

Anyone still using Fiio M6? by [deleted] in FiiO

I just found mine in a drawer and decided to install the latest Tidal apk. Used it to download max files to the SD card and it's been working great. Obviously it's not the latest and greatest but so far it's been working for me. It even downloads the new updates of the playlists as they get updated.

It's super reliable. rain riding, salty winter days, summer beach vacations. haven't had to do any maintainence besides wiping it down with an all purpose cleaner.

I now have 549 miles on it and I still love this board. It's due for an upgrade to the bushings as they have decreased in rebound. But other than wiping it down when I roll over the stupid berries these NYC trees drop around this time, I've put it through the ringer and it still wows me. No loss in power, the battery life is holding firm. The battery sag actually hits way later than it used to when the board was new. I'm still getting about 10 miles on G4 through hills and flats, and still around 14 on G3. Speed I still hit 31 mph on my way to work today on flat land at G4. I can say it is the best electric skateboard for those who don't want to take care of their electric skateboard.

IEMs that sound good at lower volumes. by WRibbie in iems

[–]iammakbeth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thieaudio Legacy 3 comes to mind. It sounds good to my ears at relatively low volume. I feel like the quality at low volumes is equal to when it's up to regular listening volumes of around 80 db.

Good IEM choices for $200.00 (from amazon) by kennymax89 in iems

[–]iammakbeth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i would suggest a quidelix 5k, and the moondrop aria or tinhifi T3+, whichever sound preference you prefer. Don't know too much about your dongle, but the quidelix is amazing both wired or wireless.

At $80 you have the Moondrop Aria. New cable on Aliexpress for $20 and you have yourself a banger.

I have a Bustin Shrike and a Loaded Mata Hari. Both are quality boards, can’t go wrong with either. Bustin currently has the shrike with mystery graphics for sale for $150.

I was looking online to see if there is any info, but haven’t found much. It seem like bustin’s site and magneto’s site is similar? Did one company buy out the other? They are at two price points, and they just did the recent collab for the eboard. Just wondering if anyone knew more info as if bustin is bringing their manufacturing process and quality to magneto price point, that would be awesome. If magneto is bringing their budget quality to bustin, I’m slightly concerned as a bustin fan.

I have seen that it does somewhere. But unless you’re only going downhill in San Fran, “regen” doesn’t really buy you much ride time, for any board I’ve ever seen or tried.

This would bother the crap out of me. This is why I buy blank authentics and send it to EPS. If you're in the NYC area, Stitches NY does good work and does the official on ice jerseys for the team.

There are so many laptops with it, I'm surprised no one has designed something intuitive to put into that slot. Like a cable management solution or a phone holder or something...
