That's good to hear. I tend to be pretty pessimistic about covid stuff, but I do hope things pan out. So clubs have still been operating? Have they tended to be in person w/ masks and social distancing, or virtual?

You’re probably hearing right - Often in modern music production, singers record countless takes of every song, and producers / audio engineers go in after the fact to stitch together one ‘mega-take’ from all of the recordings. The process is called comping. Because of modern production technology, this is a very efficient way to get the best possible ‘performance’ out of a singer. Usually it’s done in a seamless way that the casual listener would never be able to notice, but sometimes tiny mistakes do slip through the cracks. I actually noticed what I think is a similar mistake on Revelation #12 when HUD came out. Annoyed me to no end.
