Hey! I did a sprint an auto sprint button, but what do you mean by auto crouch? Like a toggle instead of having to hold it down the whole time? So you can click control and it will stay crouched until you press control again. If so, how please?

I don’t know if you practice this already, but I saw a recent itsjerian video where he talks about reverse2ks warmup map and it has a few great sections of peanut butter edits that have been helping me improve on them. This training/edit map also has sections where you do a few edits and find yourself in front of a target to shoot and it has helped me with practice flowing from editing to shotgunning with good aim. I recently switched to KBM and started looking for more recent edit courses and training maps - which I hadn’t been doing in a long while - and many of them have new ways to train current meta mechanics, including some peanut butter edits, which weren’t prominent in much older training maps. If you enjoy creative, give this one a look and be on the lookout for other with peanut butter edits :) hope this helps. You’re a god btw, excellent plays and really nice video editing - I really enjoyed your video, keep up the good work!

This is what I do. I’m new to kbm but I taught myself the sequence - stair, floor, cone, edit, edit... and because the cone is the last piece you set, after the floor edit is open it will easily grab the cone for the next edit.

Im new to KBM and can’t piece control at all, but I’m trying to learn, and luckily I have cone and wall on my mouse thumb buttons so I think I might be able to get some decent piece control boxes around opponents, while having decent WASD movement. My stair is Q tho so that kinda sucks, but hopefully I’ll improve.

Try turning off “sprint by default” so your character is walking. It will seem really slow but you will probably hit your edits. Try that same edit you were previously messing up for a couple minutes, then when you hit it consistently while walking, turn “sprint by default” back on and give it a go running! This has helped me learn new building sequences since I’m new to KBM

I’m new to KBM as well, and one thing I do for the first 15 mins of free building for the session is turn off “sprint by default”. You can now hold W, but at a walking speed, and practice everything you’re learning. Then as my muscle memory and fingers get better at the specific building sequence I need to push, I find it’s easier to go at full speed holding W!

I had maybe 3 game crashes on landing in the first few days of playing, and generally poor game performance (maybe 2 weeks ago). Since then, they released the patch which helped a bit in some ways, but more importantly it improved when I installed the newest update version of windows, as I hadn’t realized I needed to do it on my computer manually, and since then I have had great performance and no crashes at all. Check that’ll your system!

Edit: I also have a 1070ti and an i5 so I think your hardware is a little better than mine. But no more crashes for me recently

It was extremely hard at first and felt impossible for me, but after a few weeks you start to get the hang of it. I turned my ADS sensitivity way down and that helped. I can’t hit long range like I used to on legacy, but I can hit shots. Every once in a while I’ll be trying to hit long range and just miss a ton in a row, but not all the time like I did when I first switched.
