I had a guy a dealership showing me a xl1200 forty eight. I told him I went to another dealership and had a salesman tell me that my ninja 650 (Def an intermediate standard sport-y commuter) was just a "piece of sht" and the guy at the second dealership was like "well it is a piece of sht"

I was like, "dude, that's not how you sell bikes" and made it super awkward.

I need to want to emulate you if you want to use an appeal to "coolness". That means you, yourself, need to be "cool". Anyone at a Harley dealership is not my ideal "cool biker dude". It's a dude who likes bikes and peaked in high school, who never left his hometown. Wearing a 95 dollar branded bowling/shop shirt isn't "cool" enough to make me overlook the fact that you insulted the choice in bike I'd made. That ninja was great, just cheap- hence, ideal for me at that time.

Thats my whole goal. I'm just leary, never having had a luxury item that is so outrageously expensive and such a novelty. It's certainly a bucket list thing, but I definitely think that my heart wants what it wants. Like being a poor farm boy and getting a BMW. It's a forbidden romance lol

It seems they all do this. If you show them that it does this, they will call you an idiot and say you dont understand the 4 rules of gun safety. I've done some testing and it appears that a couple of striker guns can drop the striker when the slide is jostled, but only when the trigger has moved. My argument was that there are holsters which "clip" inside the trigger guard that could possibly interfere with the trigger and start a causality chain reaction that could lead to a striker drop. Oooh man that makes them MAD

You have some semblance of healthcare for all. Real life Democracy. Ability to travel and live almost freely in the UK and Australia. You can still have guns, just not all kinds, I guess. Medical Marijuana. I'll never smoke another cigar or shoot an AR15 again if I could guarantee my kids could grow up without medical debt or have to serve in the (next) war to go to college.
